I'm already in! The competition is pretty tough but, so far so good on the ratings and reviews of my film but, there's a bit more than 3 weeks left to go in the contest and I'm quite nervous about my lead. There are some really good films running against mine and the scoring is tight right now.

I'm amazed that my film is in the lead at present, because it has two marks against it: It's a 'heady' film that is slow and long on philosophy - not the sort of thing that pleases the 'main stream' audience. And it's a stop motion animated film and that's a style of film making that has been dissed and dismissed as an 'ancient art' by today's exec producers. I am feeling very lucky that the people logging in and voting are giving it high marks.

Definitely keep spreading the word about your entry - the more votes/rates you receive, the better chance you'll have of making it into the top 20% and moving onto the judges round. I'll be sending round an email to entrants soon about how to properly promote your film, but in the meantime, just get the word out there to as many friends, family and fans as your can!
