Alright. As y'all know (I'm sorry. I just had to say that.) I'm new to this animating business. I just wanted to know how I would publish my films once they are done. Perhaps I could upload them to my own personal website, but I really would like to…

Profile Information

Are you a trained or self-taught animator?
Self-Taught
Where are you located or based?
At my house...
Do you have an online portfolio or link to your work?

What's your favorite animation (tv show, short, feature film)?
Family Guy
What or who influenced you to started animating?
I have always loved drawing, since I was 1 year old. I have progressed since then, creating comics and my own characters. I then learned about animating, and wanted to bring my characters to life. So here I am. I love frame-by-frame animation. I know it's super tedious for only one guy, but with this I can achieve effects not possible with simple cut-out-animation and tweens and stuff. I draw in a mixture of the Anime style and my own style, drawn from American art. (like DC comics.)
Do you work in the industry or create animation as a hobby?
I definitely create animation as a hobby. Why else am I here? >.>
Tell us a bit about the software and hardware used in your creative work.
I use a mixture of software. Here's a list of some:

Adobe Flash

Adobe Photoshop

GIMP

Toon Boom Studio

Anime Studio Pro 5 (I hate this program. How can Anime be created by tweens? God cel-animation is waaaay better for this medium.)

MS Paint (For dire needs.)

Jasc Paintshop Pro (Great program for painting atmospherics.)
Any projects we can look forward to seeing from you in the near future?
One project I am working on is something called Dotguy. It started out as a video game (I am a programmer too) but then switched to an animation film because I love to draw. And sitting in front of a screen full of text for 7 hours a day sucks. I mean, God, how boring... At least with animating you actually have fun...

Okay, so I've like got this program that is so awesome (Toon Boom Studio) and I got my storyboards and I'm ready to go. Jeez. Thank God I have gotten the materials I have been trying to get for like 3 YEARS NOW...

So. My current job is animating short opening animations from my High School (New Paltz by the way) Morning Show called NPZ. I like this job, because there are many other animators like me who have great talents. I should tell them about this site. Cough. Cough.

Anyway I work… Continue
