This is not a sequel to 2001 : A Space Odyssey but some kind of tribute. The story of Kubrick's movie was supposed to take place exactly ten years ago. 2001 to 2011, I thought it was a good date to make something, even if it has no obvious relation with the original story.

Note : this story takes place in 2057 if you consider the game ASA: A Space Adventure. Then why call it 2011 and not 2057: A Space Adventure ? Because it initiated the project and was released in november 2011 !

Ceci n'est pas une suite a 2001 : L'Odyssee de l'Espace mais une sorte d'hommage. L'histoire de l'oeuvre de Kubrick etait supposee avoir lieu il y a exactement dix ans cette année. 2001 a 2011, j'ai pense que c'etait une bonne date pour marquer le coup, meme si ma creation n'a finalement rien a voir avec l'histoire du film.

Note : cette histoire prend place en 2057 si l'on se réfère au jeu ASA: A Space Adventure. Alors pourquoi l'avoir appelé 2011 et pas 2057: A Space Adventure ? Parce que ce film est à l'origine du projet et est sorti en novembre 2011 !

Here is the animated music video for the song “It Is Still You” by the British band “Silver Columns”,from the album "YES AND DANCE". Since there is no specific story for the song we chose to make an animation with a strongly visual style.
We selected 14 brilliant animators to participate in this project. The animators individually produced a segment of the music video according to each verse of the song. The results are on show this peculiar and eye-catching short animation.
The distinctive original music at the end was composed by Ayo Chen.
