Fish don’t need sex est mon film de fin d’études, réalisé durant ma deuxième année du Dma de l’ESAAT. Il s'est construit autour du morceau de Marconi Union, qui a inspiré l'atmosphère et le rythme suspendu du projet. C’est un film sensuel entièrement réalisé en papier. Les feuillets ont été découpé uns à uns avec amour, avant d’être placé et rétro-éclairé sur Banc-Titre.


« Two lovers are having sex. »
Fish don’t need sex is my graduation film, which I directed during my last year at Esaat, in France. The film was built around the track "Glace Bay" composed by Marconi Union, which inspired the particular atmosphere of the project. It’s a sensuous film, entirely made of paper. Each frame was cut with a scalpel, before going under the camera and being back-lighted.
