SOUR's new song 'Life is Music' sings about the circle of life, and how music is its rhythm maker. We took this concept, and came up with an idea to use the spinning CD disc as a Phenakistoscope. We created the entire animated music video using 189 spinning CDs. These CDs used in the video are sold on http://lifeismusic.jp as numbered limited edition art discs, so the fans can own a piece of the music video.

SOURの新曲『Life is Music』は、音楽のようにサイクルしていく人生について歌っています。このコンセプトを聞いたとき、回転するCDのディスクをフェナキストスコープとして使い、CDの盤面に描かれた絵がから生まれるアニメーションだけでミュージックビデオを作るというアイデアが浮かびました。いっさいCGは使わず、実際に189枚のCDにそれぞれ違った絵を描いて回転させ、アニメーションを作り上げています。また、ファンの方々にミュージックビデオの一部を実際に手にしていただけるよう、このミュージックビデオで使用しているCDは、それぞれ一枚限定でナンバリングし「アート・ディスク」として特設サイトで販売いたしております。http://lifeismusic.jp
